Skin care should be simple, just like Mother Nature intended. This is why all our products are unisex and may be applied from head to toe (including area around eyes) and any time of day.

Since our products are packed with diverse nutrients, all you need is a minimum of two products. Oat Meal Soap for cleansing and one cream, balm or oil serum for moisturizing, nurturing and protecting the skin.

Niki Newd “Fresh Skin Care” -concept means that products are made of 100% natural ingredients = they are truly natural. It also means that products are freshly made from the finest natural ingredients – eg. they are never stored and no preservatives nor alcohol are used in order to gain a longer shelf life. Just like freshly squeezed orange juice, Niki Newd products are at their best when enjoyed fresh.

For us, ultimate freshness means use by dates. Do not use your product after the use by date stated on the product.
As a general rule, our use by dates are determined as follows:

Skin Butter, Balm, Glow, Velvet, Silk - within 6 months from production

Skin Cream & Skin Mist – within 2 months from production

All Skin Masks – within 2 months from production

Oat meal soap – within 6 months

No, we do not hold any kind of certificate (eg. BDIH, Cosmebio, Ecocert, ICEA, Soil Association). We have made the decision not to apply for any of these because currently there are no certificates that match our high standards regarding quality and natural values. Many certificates actually allow the use of synthetic ingredients, and the use of preservatives and alcohol are always allowed. Niki Newd products are proudly 100% natural and always preservative and alcohol free – this is why we want to stay in a league of our own.

We always use 100% natural ingredients. In addition, we always favour food grade quality (=edible) ingredients over cosmetic grade ingredients (that are never suitable for human nutrition).

Organic, Fair Trade, food grade, cold pressed, extra virgin, ethically produced, unbleached, family farm origin, local production, – these all are more like basic standards than exceptions for us. We are extremely passionate in finding the very best producers and professionals when it comes to choosing our ingredients.

No. We never add fragrances to our products. All of our products get their unique, gentle scents from their natural ingredients.

Storing of Niki Newd products is pretty simple.

Only Skin Cream and Skin Mist are stored refrigerated.

All the other products can be stored at room temperature.

Our ingredients are carefully hand-picked from the best ethical producers and small organic farms around the world– always 100% traceable because we want you to know what you put on your skin.

We also source locally whenever there is the chance. Over 60% of ingredients used in Niki Newd products come from Nordic countries such as Finland, where the nature is pristine.

Our spring water comes from one of the cleanest natural springs in Lapland - and the world.

During 15 years of product development, Niki Newd has carefully selected all ingredients with the same focus for quality and nutritional value as in gourmet cooking. Only the finest and most nutritious ingredients will do.

On a general level, the only animal product used in Niki Newd products are lactose in Skin Mist and unbleached beeswax from our local beekeeper.

We never, ever, ever, test our products on animals. Animal testing is forbidden in the EU and most certainly against our fundamental values.  All Niki Newd products are tested on our own skin and on other volunteers.

We ship globally via DHL Express, UPS and Fedex.

When it comes to choosing packaging materials, we love to think outside the box. Meaning that we literally don’t use boxes.

Our jars are made of glass, lids, pumps and labels are made of plastic (we strive to use minimal plastic) and tubes are made of aluminium. All materials are recyclable. All containers are also food grade quality ensuring that no harmful compounds are absorbed into the product from container materials.

Also, our 100% biodegradable Soap Case is made by Sulapac. The raw materials of the case are from renewable resources and the wood chips can be traced back to sustainably managed Nordic forests.

Examine your order upon delivery to ensure that there are no visible signs of damaged, missing or incorrect pieces. In case the product has been damaged in delivery, please contact Niki Newd® by the Contact Us Form on the niknewd.com site within 48 hours from receiving the order.
In order for us to handle the complaint concerning damages to products occurred in delivery, the delivered product must be unopened and unused.
